Development

The International Science Education Conference 2018 (ISEC 2018 Singapore) is where science education researchers and practitioners meet to exchange ideas related to science education research and practice. Jointly organised by the Ministry of Education and the Natural Sciences and Science Education Academic Group (NSSE), National Institute of Education, Singapore. This is the fourth ISEC. The theme “Re-searching science education: Same issues from different lenses” aims to provide a platform for intellectual dialogue on issues in science education using alternative lenses.

CLASSROOM

We wanted a user-friendly event portal which relayed & collected the necessary information in a organised & secure manner

CHALLENGE

Both event organisers & participants needed to be provided with varying levels of access, based on the inputs of others.

SOLUTION

The strategy was to design & create an organised database right from the beginning, accommodating for the various access levels & data to be filled in as the event progressed.
